Switching power transformer is a kind of transformer that we often use. The following is its fault repair method, and we hope to help you:
(1) Discharge sparking: Discharge sparking observed on the outside is generally caused by dirt and insulation damage on the switching power supply transformer pins. Maintenance method: Remove the switching power supply transformer, and clean the switch power transformer pins, outer surface, and printed circuit board thoroughly with anhydrous alcohol and medical cotton balls. If you find that the insulation is broken, use polyester tape to wrap the damaged area.
(2) Breaking of the coil: When it is found that the switching power supply transformer has an open-circuit fault, it should first check whether the breakage line is on the pin of the transformer (fault prone to false welding of the wire end). Using tweezers to pluck the leads, you can quickly find the point of failure.
(3) Core breakage: Core breakage can be achieved by using an adhesive to bond firmly.
(4) The coil is short-circuited: It is necessary to find out which group of coils are short-circuited, and then the coil is removed (the number of windings, the position and the winding direction should be recorded), and then the coil is rewinded.
